Farming, The 12th Men, and the brewmasters

We went to PeachCrest Farms in Stroud, Oklahoma. There were three sets of twins! Yikes!! The boys had a great time picking produce and playing in the dirt. It was a fantastic outing and we all had a blast. The trip wore them and mommy out.

I hear frequently from Casey, "being an Aggie is like being in a cult"....I guess I would have to agree. It is the best cult in the world to be a member! The years I spent at A&M were some of the best years of my life; I met the best friends, got a fantastic education (although, my classes often got in the way of my extracurricular activities........), and it was one adventure after another. So, you can imagine I am trying to indoctrinate the boys in our cult at a young age. This past weekend Ash and Cache sported their 12th Man jerseys from Uncle Leman and Aunt Jules.

Fighting Texas Aggie Class of 2029--holy cow batman! College Station better watch out.

Casey and I are brewing our own beer. How fun is that?? Actually, it can be boring. I don't have a lot of patience and I don't like to read directions, so all the boiling, stirring, adding stuff, boiling, stirring and waiting often loses my attention. But anyway, we are having fun. We bottled our first batch and I brewed a pumpkin and spices ale for the fall. It will be ready in a few weeks. Can't wait to crack open our first home brew!

Sam Adams, we are ready to take you on in a taste test.
