Bathtime

Bathtime is loads of fun at our house. Asher and Cache love their bath seats. Already the tub is full of toys. Bathtime has turned into an hour long event with lots of splashing and laughing.

Asher's disappearing act

As most of you know, the boys have quite the big personalities. Asher is the go-getter and wants to explore everything. Cache would rather sit in his dad's lap watching hunting shows.

Mary went to change Cache's pants in their bedroom and put Asher on the floor to play. This typically is OK because he will play with the zillion toys they have. Well, not so much on Tuesday. Mary came back into the living room to find no Asher.

She was panicking envisioning massive pieces of furniture falling on him, crawling into the dryer, you get the picture. She looked everywhere she could think and no Asher! She looked in the extra bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, closets. Mary never thought in the amount of time it took her to change Cache's pants that Asher could crawl into Mom and Dad's bedroom!

Well, that is where he was playing on the dog bed laughing. He is a fast little booger. Let the chaos begin.......

Story time

Mom and Dad finally got to go to storytime on Saturday. Asher and Cache go every Wednesday morning with Mary so it was exciting for Mom and Dad to finally get to go.

Well, the boys are the hit of the event! As we walked into the room, Ms. Susan, the story teller, ran up to us. We thought Cache was going to jump into her arms. Ms. Susan asked the boys if they brought Mom and Dad to story time and they just giggled.

Cache is in love with Ms. Susan. He gave her goo-goo eyes the entire time. He typically has fairly severe stranger anxiety, so we were surprised to see his reaction to her. We think he would go home with her. Asher smiled and jumped.

We all sat on the floor while Ms. Susan read several books. We also sang some songs. We did itsy bitsy spider and if your happy and you know it. The boys loved it. They jumped and smiled the whole time. We are not sure who had more fun, Mom and Dad or Asher and Cache.

It was a great weekend.

up with the chickens

As most of you know, Mom and Dad like to sleep in on the weekends. In fact, Beggs, Harley and Bailey ALL like to sleep in. Well....those days are over. At 6:30 in the morning Ash and Cache are ready to start their day.

This is great during the week, but on the weekends it really sucks. Mom and Dad got up to take care of the boys but Beggs stayed under the covers and napped. Our dogs really have the life!

Asher has turned into a picky eater. He has a food-of-the-month attitude. Right now that is green beans, brown rice cereal with mashed bananas. So, his breakfast, lunch and dinner are you guessed it; green beans, brown rice cereal with mashed bananas. This afternoon Mom got a little sneaky and added peaches and pears into the cereal instead of bananas. HE NOTICED!!!! Ash was our garbage disposal and Cache was the picky eater but their roles have reversed.

Cache will eat pretty much anything--for now.
